Why did you join the Caste?
My fiance was doing Security, and I wanted to too. The Bawdy Caste is like a giant family and compared to my other Rocky experiences, it felt like ŌhomeĶ so to speak. While at a show the caste performed at in San Pedro Square, while drunk on free wine and beer that was provided for us (ah perks!), my best friend Chelsea and I came up with this brilliant idea to start performing, hence why the switch was made from Security to Transylvanian. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and it was!
What do you have the most fun doing at the show?
Hanging out with people I donÕt normally have time to see. Dancing around like an idiot. Watching audience members who have never been to the show lives reactions. And a bunch of other stuff.
What would you like to do with the Caste before you retire?
Someday I would like to have enough time and energy to learn and perform as Columbia, my favorite character since I first saw the movie when I was in the 3rd or 4th grade.
Give a relatively brief description of yourself to the audience:
IÕm the chick with the giant afro and the oversized white sunglasses, that you wonÕt recognize as the same person when I am out of costume.
What have you learned during your time on Caste?
That if this group of people has something they want to accomplish, they will. And that in the huge community of Rocky, you can still find down to earth people who just want to put on a good show, while having fun at the same time.
